Xuan Xin Restaurant - Gurney Plaza ( NH )

Every dish here, bears a sticker with the name, of the respective Master who concocted it.
Most dishes start off nicely, only to turn unbearable before you're even halfway through .

Lotus root fried with mok yee, snowpeas and carrots. Although everything had a nice crunchy texture , it was a sad case of taste overload.
Too much wine, fermented red bean overdose.

3 quarters left uneaten.

Fried beehoon with black bean sauce, beef and bittergourd. After the 5th spoonful it became extremely 'jelak' .
So difficult to finish because the noodle had absorbed all the heavy oil. See how matted it is ?
Beef tasted sourish and was full of irritating ligaments and tissues that should have been discarded. Peanuts were an unneccessary addition.

Half eaten.

Fried yang chow rice.  Too oily. They took the stale rice advice too far. Sure fertile with fungi already . Pork fat has turned rancid.  Spring onion has been soaked in water too long.

Again Half eaten.

Ramen noodles with fish. Worst of the lot. Who would ever half boil ayam maggi mee tastealike soup and put fish meat in ? They did .

Could only stomach one quarter before giving up.

Conclusion : Effin' Turn Off
