Minyak Dagu and our husbands

I have yet to find a good lady masseur in Penang up till now. Most of them are not skilled, but I do enjoy a little exchange of womanly banter as they loosen up a knot in my hands and shoulder.
Today, the conversation went like this.....
the threat of
loosing your husband to a GRO, reflexologist or masseur who smears minyak dagu or corpse oil on him.

Why ?
Apparently , some of these women, from a certain ethnic background, from a rather large country known for breaking up countless marriages here, have no qualms about using Thai minyak dagu ( and no, they're not Thais ) with no worries about the grave repercussions.

Instead of keeping the bottle on them and adhering to the rule of not misusing the magic, they want a firm guarantee that their customers will keep coming back for more.
Any guesses what they do ?

Seems they wipe the stuff on their victims. As a guarantee he won't forget them. That he will fall hopelessly and madly in love with them. Worse still, when faced with stiff competition from a prettier masseuse, some will resort to putting a drop in their drink .
"Finish lah, your husband " she said. " you can say goodbye to him when that happens "

Pretty far fetched accussation ? Or was she trying to frighten me from patronising them ? Might she have spilled the beans out of spite ? No idea.
But somehow, if it is true, it explains, how come our men can so easily get conned, left dry and penniless, after an affair with these ladies .
There was a newspaper report on how a group of exasperated women in central Pahang, took their woes to political reps, when their husbands abandoned them for these women, even after 20 over years of marriage.
And all the while, we thought our men were being irresponsible and 'gatal'.
How does one escape an enchantment spell of this proportion ?
