So clandestine

Even though turtle eggs are still sold openly in Kuala Terengganu, the seller was no where to be seen.
Read : i-l-l-e-g-a-l
Guess she's got to be hiding somewhere amongst all the traders I suppose, as the eggs were just left there on the floor with the price list written on a cardboard .

And while it's a delicacy known among the locals as a libido booster , I have absolutely no intention of touching it (no, that's not my hand there )

On the other hand, none of us could resist holding this baby turtle. The modus operandi to go see it was so clandestine, covered in a cloak of darkness and secrecy, all of us had different views on what we would actually stumble upon .
Me, I thought we were going to see a huge mummy laying eggs in the sand . Wrong.

In the excitement, to capture the moment, some camera flashes went off. Do bear in mind that this thoughtless action of ours could resign it to a life of blindness.

So glad I switched mine off.
Only in Terengganu

Yup. Memang peluang skali dlm seumur hidup. Last trip, i miss out masa dorg jln2 kat tepi pantai kat Kijal, terserempak dgn tourist grp lepaskan anak penyu. Memang kesian kat d mom . What 2 do kan ? Reeducation of our mindset takes a long time. Compared to d 60s n 70s, 2day, not many will climb on the mum's back 2 take photo.
