First time on the Second Penang Bridge - pretty in pink and white !

At 24km long, the Second Penang Bridge is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia.
The midspan is the same old boring spare for the pink tips and a couple of sweeping twists to prevent drivers from snoozing off.

As the toll entrance is free for the entire month of March, traffic, as you can imagine, what with people wanting to get out and take selfies at the midspan and entrance, will contribute to crawls and even accidents. ( yeah I saw one involving a 3 vehicle pile up on the other direction heading towards the mainland )

Coupled with impatient drivers who use the emergency lane like it's their grandfather's road, as well as wannabe Formula 1 cum GTA drivers unleashed on the rather small bridgespan which obviously cannot really cope with extremely heavy traffic, I'd advise yout to visit the washroom first and relieve yourself or wear adult diapers lest you be caught in a 3 hour crawl like us on opening night itself
