PLUS NSE exit 2801 - almost like Sydney !

 

 

Well, last night was a historic moment in which tens of thousands of people in the Northern Region, poured towards the newly opened Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge or the Second Penang Bridge / JK2PP .

While the entire fanfare was focused on the bridge itself, I seriously think that PLUS authorities have come up with a real gem, which I foresee is going to be hugely popular with the locals as it looks just like Sydney Harbour's bridge from afar !

 

 

 

This is the exit when you get off the highway. The signs may be confusing but whether you're on Exit 2801 or 2802 both lead to the bridge.

 

 

 

 but if you ask me, I think it looks a little like Sydney's iconic bridge if you don't take all the details into account.

 

 

 

After passing the PLUS exit we ran straight smack into another jam. Wasted no time in snapping some pics in the middle of the road just to remember it by. On a normal day, this would be suicide right ?

 

While I hope they keep it lit up every night, it could prove to be a nuisance if roadusers ( such as muah ) pulled stunts like the above when both exits are fully open.
