Some of my favourite Malaysian shellfish dishes


I have a weakness for shellfish. I consume a lot of it  whenever possible and here is a list of my favourites

1. Miniature lala, no bigger than a five sen coin , fried with ginger , garlic , bean paste and cili padi.



2. Oh Chien . 
Spicy rock oyster omelette served on top of a banana leaf .



3. Kapah
Kam Heong style  ( fried with hot curry paste ) suits it best. 



4. Mosaic lala .
Love it in wine, boxton seeds and ginger.




5. Blood cockles ( Ham in Chinese )
Par boiled so it is just cooked and very bloody when you pry it open .
