ManA Frozen Foods - all kinds of balls

First thing you will notice in the 3 tiny table shopfront is the chiller bins. Then only the 3 barstool type of tables inside. Next , you will be curious enough to want to go in because, hey, there are people eating inside.
So you squeeze into this corner and notice the 100 baht menu. The locals are pretty enthusiastic about this and you too will want to give it a try.

The 2 bored looking staff will duly note what you want and put something in a plastic bag ? straight to the back of one of 2/3 microwave.
End result , it comes out served this way, on a styrofoam plate and the taste of the balls makes me wonder just how connected we Thais and Malaysians are. Cos you can't get this grade of fishballs in KL anymore. But it used to be available. So maybe our businessmen have relocated or they were Thais to begin with.
The other items on the platter are lobster balls , vegie tofu, and soy skin rolls. Now those , you can find at the wetmarkets and steamboat shops.

Verdict : worth trying

Location : Hatyai Airport
