Budapest - bicycle friendly city

As per the title , it's true.
Budapest is a bicycle friendly city.

You may rent one via the public sharing system, where a week's use will cost you only 2000 forints.....

...bring your own....

...maybe even buy one from the local store

They even have dedicated traffic lights and crossing lanes too .

Should you ride one into a platoon of bayonetted guards, nobody will bat an eyelid. No problem. Free country.

Even recent migrants can even ride one to a protest and tie it up next to a pole near some policemen.
Isn't this wonderful ?
I think it's amazing !

Far as I noticed, the bicycle sharing system seems to be dominated by this flourescent green company called Bubi. There are 76 docks and although an initial deposit of 25,000 forints is required , the amount will be refunded after deducting the period you used it for.

Docking stations can be found in hilly Buda....

...all the way down to Pest.

Ever wondered how they move bicycle from one point to the next ?

There you have it.
