Yeah , they're turning all the roads on Penang island into old Jinjang .
Everywhere you turn , someone's ripping up some tarmac . Again . And leaving a huge ugly mess which is never going to be cleared up . Again .
Thought I'd seen enough ridiculous scenes in my life but gosh , hey , someone tell me why we need TEN men to work on this small stretch ?
2 to supervise, 4 to dig ,while 4 take a break ? Geez.
Have they subbed out everything and cut one job into several pie slices for a few buddies ? Yeah , like the queue system going into the Penang Ferry Terminal . According to their staff ,the big boss has subbed out the queue system to 3 different tender takers ! That's what I was told .
What a way to make money and suck our coffers dry .

Well, at least you still have 4 working there. I've seen only 1 working, while the rest waiting for the time to pass. The excavator operator, especially, only digs holes at the start of the project, then, pulls his cap over his face for a good nap on his machine for the rest of the day. He doesn't even bother to catch up with the latest gossip with the rest of the gang under some tree shades.
We should start a squad . There will be plenty of tales and funny pictures I'm sure .
