Bella Italia

Now aren't we glad we have a clutch of all time favourite expat restaurateurs on the island , especially when travel nowadays means more risk than pleasure .
To rekindle the cosy little Italian diner experience , I can think of no place better than Bella Italia on Bellisa Row .

The dessert above was served towards the end of the meal , but it was so fabulous and divine , to feature that first , is a MUST .

Melts in the mouth , is so smooth and creamy , not overwhelmingly sweet and tastes more along the line of dolce leche .
Probably is tiramisu , we didn't ask as it came as one set together with the Aglio Olio below .
Oh , it's good alright .

What we initially walked in for .
A Pizza Quatro and a Pepperoni Pizza .

Pepperoni dough had an aromatic smoked flavour . Each time I order the Quatro I kind of wish it came with a quarter segment of artichoke once more . Still I love it because you get 4 varieties of toppings on one pizza and today it is button mushrooms , salmon , chicken and ham .
Always yummy !

If you go and check the prices of each individual ingredient at the local deli , you might just die of shock .
Prices of cold cuts , salmon and even mushrooms have risen so much , I don't even know how Bella Italia does it .

Every diner not only receives quality AND quantity at a most reasonable price , the sense of work pride instilled in all of the workers by the boss is something that never ceases to amaze me .
