I saw what you did yesterday mister

To the motorbike rider who drove past the Penang YMCA yesterday , I saw what you did mister .

Your good deed is not the first I have seen . And good deeds are not just done by Cina Bukits* like you only but other Penangites too .

Yet somehow , your selfless act triggered a chord in me . Made me more determined to chase you , just to jot down your registration plate .

It was yesterday too that one Mandarin speaking young Chinese woman, handed me 2 parking coupons which still had some hours left on it .
Sadly , I did not take note of her car number plate but tq hey miss thanks a bunch . I hope my huge , big , warm smile beaming back at you was bright and rewarding enough to make you feel good for the rest of the day
 . :)

Coming back to the main topic....

Mr PFQ 6902

... you went out of your way and stopped your bike by the side of the road .
And then despite the rain , you walked to the middle of the road to pick up a rotten branch that had just fallen from above .

Not caring if you were endangering yourself both from being hit by oncoming vehicles or being in the way of another rotten branch .

If I unnnerved you by following you , it was to get your number plate and tell the whole world , the quiet , heroic thing you just did .

I have to because you showed that you simply did not care about your safety but were more concerned about preventing other riders from getting into a big mishap .

I salute you  .

* Cina Bukit :  this is a derogatory term applied to the Chinese living on Penang island . It implies that the individual is selfish , greedy, uncaring and ignorant .

This post aims to show you the good things done on the quiet , that some either have never seen or simply choose to ignore .
