From the lovely medieval town of Nuremberg we arrived at this hotel with just one hour to get ready for dinner ( refer to the earlier Novo2 three course dinner post ).
When we pulled up I thought that it looked more like a motel rather than those huge Novotels we are accustomed to .
White christmas tree theme in the lobby .
We did not need to individually register at the reception .
Ulf had taken care of that .
Each time he handed us the keycard , he called us by our names which was already preassigned to a specific room number .
Before we went up he added
" if there is anything wrong please come and let me know "
Going towards the lift area , was a small group of competitive gymnasts .
Their feet barely able to touch the upper part of the barstool .
All dressed in pink jackets with their hair tied up in tight knots . I thought they looked so cute ( not in pic )
This was where we would sit down to a three course meal in an hour's time or so . Very classy five star service when you compare it to the overall hotel feel . Try to arrange for a meal here if you can .
Anyway , by the time we open the door , and find the sofa bed open , I'm contemplating if I should go tell Ulf that they probably gave us a family room but nah , let's not .
Weird for me but my travel partner likes it . So there .
Mine . All mine .
Mwahahaha
Amenities provided .
Hangers ...
Coffee and tea making facilities .
Wonderful .
Tv ...
...writing desk...
...safe , minibar .
Let's check out the bathroom next .
Bathtub yes !
Gonna soak in here later .
Toilettries provided can be used several times . Very generous but only if you don't mind a manly scent lol .
I used it anyway .
I remember this hair dryer as being the only hair dryer that can dry my hair really fast !
Very good this Courtoisy .
Saloon like .
If you look carefully , all hotel toilets come with a container of plastic bags for sanitary pads ( no , not just one piece ) as well as a toilet brush that has a fitting lid so you don't see some icky things .
Convenience wise , there really isn't anything around the hotel . Probably good if you have a car but ought to be a bit difficult for those without .
