Flowers in my omelette

Believe me , I find these in season flowers absolutely fascinating . Even more so when they are categorised as food .

From what I observed , most Thais ate this flower picture below , boiled , with white steamed rice , more boiled vegies , a spicy dip
aaaand nothing much . No meat nor egg which was a little difficult for me .

Of course I don't mind flowers in my omelette though . The Thais cook up the best tasting egg omelettes on this side of the world by the way , so bring it on .

First up .
Sesbania  aka Dok Sano .

Cowslip creeper aka Dok Kae Jon .

While this is how I enjoyed them , at a local foodcourt ,
I find it extremely sad that the authorities are working so hard at getting rid of street hawkers , leaving us with not much option other than to eat indoors .

Anyway , both flowers bring a multitude of health benefits but if you ask me which one is tastier , the yellow one wins hands down .
