The restaurant buffet scene in Thailand is on such an upswing , that if you walk near or in any major shopping districts especially around Bangkok , in search of all you can eat places , for approximately 500 baht per person ( give and take ) you are bound to find a place to your liking !
There's just so many to choose from !
While , we decided on Sizzler on a whim , first let me show you where it is located in this sprawling complex .
You simply look for this centrecourt with a water feature ....

Queue system . Means you gotta wait !
Remember my post on Oishi Grand Buffet ? Well , if you see a number machine such as this , with benches and an air cooler outside , means the buffet is one of the most popular .
And if you see many , many hefty Thai people outside and inside the outlet , means it is extremely popular .
That's what made us want to find out why .
So , this is where they placed us .
Beautiful spot , if only my mobile took better low light pictures , but I was very comfortable here and I can assure you the interior is an eyeful .
Sizzler's loyal customers know how to make a beeline for their 199baht salad bar , which I will show you soon . If you order a main course , the salad bar is free ... yes ! FREE !
That's the main attraction here anyway . I saw other outlets but the salad bar here is very impressive , so you might want to include Mega Bangna in your to do list , to see what the fuss is all about .
A while after ordering , this toasted cheese bread was delivered to the table . I assume it is complimentary . If you'd like more , you'll definitely have to pay for it .
Tastes like garlic toast with cheese crumbs .
Then , when the chicken wings arrived , I let out a loud guffaw .
Omg soooo tiny ? How lah ?
But the first bite left me gobsmacked .
These are deep fried American style wings alright . Very scrumptious , addictive , exciting , spicy and yummy , we just couldn't get enough of it !
Love the faux firewood wall by the way . Anyway , you have plenty of time to go help yourself at the salad bar first before your mains come .
Now , will you take a look at that !
There are desserts , soups , pastas , fruits , etc etc ....so much variety that even non salad bar enthusiasts like muah , will go wide eyed and drool at the glorious sight alone !

Omg , the goods get topped up regularly ....
...everything looks fresh , full and perfect !
With the baht at a really high level now , this is where big eaters or gluttons can get more bang ( and fatty deposits muahahaha ) for their bahts !
Coming to the mains , we went for the combos half expecting halved portions . One cost 499 baht ( with one free salad buffet ) , the other was 639 baht ( with another complimentary buffet thrown in )
Um , I think these are quite large as you can see for yourself .
Pork Loin and Southwest grilled chicken ( 499 baht ).
Thought the chicken tasted a bit too processed , though the pork fared better .
But really , at this particular Sizzler , I'd like to recommend that you go for the beef steak .

It was perfect for me !
