Ya , all of us have memories of the Milo van but while I think I'm old , I can't recall ever seeing this wheel station .

Simply love how quick this app responds.

The instant we have redeemed our reward for being such loyal customers , this pops up on my mobile .

 Nobody else gives you back a whole bird for your loyalty. Don't even think about 2. But yeah , that is the amount we've managed to claim up to now , apart from the quarter chicken and half birds racked up along the way .

Big Card by Big C

Big C is yet another Thai supermarket with a customer service counter stocked with free gifts you have to personally walk up to and present your membership card before you redeem any gift.

I do not fully understand the logic behind this but since I am a free gift kaki , you don't need to force me to take a few minutes to sign up for this.

I bought some Kit Kat stuff which I will show you later but because I presented my card , I got a nice extra freebie. Later. Gotta rest my poor feet first

The 1 card by Central

Unlike in Malaysia, some shops do not allow you to get the free gifts with purchase just like that. You need to sign up for this expat &  int'l visitors membership card if you want to claim freebies from (as an example ) the customer service of stores under the Central group in Thailand.

No such problem with Tesco Lotus stores though.

Remember to bring your passport with you unless you like to double back to your room 

Kimball - ketchup squeeze bottle

I'm not the only one who's on the lookout for these kinds of premiums.

One Malay gentleman in his 50s could not resist taking a look at this as he took his place in the queue behind me .

But this being Penang, I know he has no intention to claim it for himself although his eyes told a totally different story altogether. So I allowed him to fiddle with it as he enquired with the cashier how he too could get one for himself.

Kinder Bueno pillow

The trend for premiums seems to be pillows nowadays.

A good thing if you ask me, especially with one this size.

However I'm not too keen on the material as it's filmsy ( think it will run if your finger nail scratches it ) plus it feels kind of warm to the touch as well. Not that comfy, just nice to look at and a unique conversation starter.

Ok. This has got to be one of the best designed , not to mention cutest mini flasks around.

Available in Dark blue or white, both sport similar cartoons.

Mydin logo on top, various ethnicities holding hands at the bottom. Dayak warrior in feathered headress and shield is just adorable.

In the background is the iconic KL tower and the KLCC twin towers.

Yakult - mini bolster & felt shopping bag

Pictures don't always convey the truth. What you think looks unattractive on site, is starkly different in front of you.

That fact that I'm about to post up many pics of this bolster shows you how much I like it already. 

You'll want one too, so in case the promoters ever give this out make sure you grab it. Or you WILL regret this. 

Lotte Koala's March - stainless steel fork and spoon set

I guess the good people at Lotte have finally discovered that if you wanna move your products in Malaysia, you gotta give something nice away for free ! Win win situation.

So far, I've resisted the yellow koala bear soft stuffed toy, the small tupperware and the cup but my goodness, this one I couldn't let pass.

a popcorn and 2 drink combo. Basically, what one had to do was to kick the ball into a hole on the board with predetermined points on it.
