We stumbled upon this place by chance.
What got our attention was the long line of diners waiting to get in which is quite a rare sight in Bangkok.
Wanted to be part of the action.
Ended up at the entrance only to be told that the waiting time would be ONE hour.
Ok. Whatever, take the number and wait like the rest.
Half an hour later, these 2 useless gwai lohs walk straight in, pretending to look around.
They filled plates with food and laid claim to this table where they are standing. A loud argument ensued ( loud mouthed stupid pig tailed woman, the man flexed his bouncer like muscles ) where they feigned innocence and refused to join the queue outside.
Sadly they got their way.
Meanwhile, new arrivals just kept on coming, crowding around to get a number chit to wait in line
( not like those two, dirty rotten good for nothings, up there )
It's hard not to get hungrier by the minute looking at all their happy customers pile thick, juicy sashimi onto their plates.
Not to worry, Oishi, is thoughtful enough to provide free drinks every now and then, to everyone waiting outside.
