Oishi Grand Buffet - 3 hours to feast

After the one hour wait , everyone, and I mean everyone ! went craaaaazyyy, emptying the super popular, super fresh sashimi counter, of fish that is so tender, firm, glossy, thick, moist, goooood !
If you're not a fan of raw fish, it's because what you've been eating so far, has leaked blood and therefore smells.
What they have at Oishi is just a notch below those offered around the Tokyo fish market, which is sweet, succulent and pleasant to the bite.
Absolutely must try !

Round the corner ..... tuna !
Next to more salmon covered in so much roe, you'll wonder why you ever bothered to eat elsewhere after this experience!

Orientals made a beeline for the steamed food counter......

...because there was expensive , super fresh , Cod fish which they call Snowfish here.
Simply select what you want, but make sure you bring along one of these buttons from your table. It denotes your table number.

Slot it in the hole on your plate  .
Once the food is cooked , someone will deliver it to your table.
No need to wait around.

Very nice texture, with delicate flavours.
Shitake mushrooms were juicy and fantabulous !
Watched one old lady whack ten of these !
Boy can they eat in Bangkok !

Most popular item at the sushi counter was the one with orange roe on top.
But it's not here because someone swiped everything each time another serving came out.
This made the chef kinda paranoid and he resorted to hiding the much sought after dish behind his counter.

Not to worry because...gasp what's this ?
Black Caviar sushi ????? Are they crazy ????
Get out of here !!!!
5 found their way onto my plate.
Muahhaahahahaaa !!!!

Grill / Teppan counter lies right at the back
However, the taste, is highly dependant on the chef .
As our first order turned out super duper over the moon excellent, we went for seconds . Turned out , it was  fit for the dustbin as it was under marinated and under cooked.

But that was quickly forgotten because there's a ....
HAAGEN DAZS ice cream station, to look forward to ?????

Right beside, all the Gelato you can possibly devour.

While there was no way I could possibly fit in a plate of pasta after all that.....

... juice from the bar was much easier to down.
There's even coffee for the asking.

They certainly know how to live up to the title of Grand Buffet, by leaving all customers spoilt for choice.
You just gotta get on the next flight and line up for an hour, to believe it.
