Fullhouse,77G Penang Times Square ( PF )

You might find it  hard not to fall in love with this gorgeous restaurant at first sight.

Quirky cartoons, cute ornaments and beautiful fixtures, catch your eye at every nook and corner, while the sheer spaciousness of the dining hall ,makes you feel as if you have just walked into someone's large bungalow for a tete de tete.

We decide that the nicest spot is right where the pristine white leather sofas are, after which the waitress places 2 well thumbed magazines that turn out to be the menus,in front of us, for our perusal.
Service is friendly without being too rushed nor obtrusive and that IS a good thing.

As they say, looks can be deceiving but not in this case.
Fullhouse is essentially a trove of progessive exciting fusion foods, the likes one can get in Japan and Taiwan.

Kept constantly heated with a tealight candle underneath a glass pot, this Lavender tea was a great way to destress and unwind .

The iced white coffee, came almost picture perfect with the exception of the ghastly blue straw .

Bit weak for my liking, throwing me back into the arms of my bouquet in a teacup.

Sparse as the Aglio Olio with sweet dried cherry tomatoes and olive oil may seem to be, it ended a little too soon as I lapped it up like a best friend I hadn't seen in years.

Really good.

Somehow the smoked sausages with BBQ Sauce, was marred by mash that leaned toward the dry side together with straight sauce devoid of creative improvements.

On the whole,it is not just the concept alone but also the inventive menu that beckons my return.

Plus if I ever wanted to hold an impressive function that looks like it cost a bomb with a pricetag that is more grounded , I would most certainly put this place on top of my list.
