This is the most famous Nasi Kandar on this side of the island.

It's so famous that at anytime you arrive, this is what you will see.

Get yourself a table first.

Then line up for rice.

Sometimes the line spills out into the corridor.

Be prepared to wait patiently.

Now proceed to this area.

If you see a lot of people just standing around ,doing nothing, with a plate of rice in their hands, it means the star dishes have not arrived yet.

This here is a wipe out zone.

When the Killer fried chicken arrives, everyone gets excited till it looks as if there is a cheap sale going on.

Don't push.

Politely manouvre your way past others.

Wait for the right moment to take the thongs from someone who has just put it back on the shelf. 

The desperate will use their hands but that is not advisable as it is piping hot.

Some start stalking the kitchen staff and beg for chicken before they even reach the food counter, especially during peak periods.

Next,scoop the curry of your choice.

Fresh supplies from the kitchen finish real fast, so do not hesitate and take whatever you can.

When I found some bawal hitam ( lucky !) under this serving of ladies fingers, I wasted no time .

Every single one of their fish curries are winners. You cannot go wrong here.

When you're done, go to the cashier, show him what you've taken, give him your drink order and settle the bill.

While this next plate of Nasi Kandar with 2 kinds of squids, 2 bendi, 1 bawal hitam,1 chicken thigh...together with a bowl of kuah ikan and a sirap limau drink cost $12.00

The bowl of kuah ikan is not free. You will be charged according to the amount you take.
