Fatty Loh Chicken Rice ( NH )

Fatty Loh is probably the only air conditioned chicken rice hawker shop on Penang island, that looks like an antique shop at first glance.

This is what their standard roast chicken rice set looks like
However, the taste is different from most chicken rice versions you've tried.

Each set comes with a complimentary but tasty, light herbal soup on the side

Carrot strips and crunchy jagged edged cucumbers
garnish each plate of meat

The most amazing thing is, if you're flat broke, you can still stretch your ringgit and enjoy a full meal here.
Where else can you find a bowl of koay teow soup with chicken meat, beansprouts and chopped liver, for $1 only?

Didn't really need to order this plate of pakcham chicken since the portion is quite filling .
My 'greedy mode' made me cave in ......

Also, they offer a big array of extra sidelines here, such as vinegared trotters and loh bah.
Settled on this plate of deep fried tofu as I truly don't want to go overboard today.

Location : Fettes Park

Chowtime : best before 5pm
