Padang Brown hawker food ( NH )

It's been years since I last came here . Think there are less hawkers these days .However unlike ten years ago, today, there's rubbish all over the ground, discarded by couldn't care less customers.

Ordered wantan mee because it seemed to be a crowd favourite here.
At $3 per bowl (crazy cheap),I think they're actually doing everyone a great service . The dumpling has more meat than other places and the whole dish provides a substantial meal.
Tastewise I would say is ok because they use 'kacang' or deep fried pork lard as part of the flavouring. The noodles are on the slimier side. But I really like the char siew as it's an old recipe which is hard to find these days.

Finally we come to this large bowl of curry mee.
Dependable and rich, with a soup that isn't sweet like what other places dish out today.
Didn't fancy the cockles though.

Location : Padang Brown (just next to an orange coloured petrol station called BHPetrol)
