To me, Deen sells the most moderately priced yet delicious nasi kandar on the island
Most locals, I am sure would concur with me.
But foreigners ?
This family came in 2 large MPVs with a bodyguard and interpreter in tow.
Didn't ask them where they are from but I'm guessing they're uzbeks/kazakhs/russians/mongols
Anywayzzahh...this is our meal
Total $26.90 only inclusive of drinks
Comprising one piece of chicken....
( fried till a bit dry but still very tasty and shiok)
...2 pieces of tender sotong
( the deliciously stinky type )mmmm, yum, drooling over this pic ...
... 2 small slices of bawal hitam
( so, so only, not superfresh by Penang standards, still ok can eat, if you don't mind).......
...and lastly, 2 pieces of beef
( nice )
