Take a look at the area surrounding this restaurant and let your imagination run wild. It's located in a shopping complex notorious for er...certain activities... that can get Mazidul Akmal Sidik's panties up in a bunch.
In case you're wondering, no, that's not him.
He's balder.

At the entrance is a tacky momento from a past wedding no one bothered to remove.
Hmm....if you ask me, I think they need to refurbish / redecorate / update their look
Let's just focus on what we're here for.
Paper thin, crispy duck skin with pancakes.
A dish one usually has to preorder one day ahead of time.

In case you're a first timer, this is how you go about consuming this delicacy.
Lay a piece of pancake flat on your side plate.
Lift a sliver of duck skin off this bed of keropok and place it on the pancake....
...like this...
Followed by some cut vegies
In this manner.
Roll it all up neatly and that's it.
You're done.
Can't be eating meat only.
Enter the Kale flower fried with garlic.
Not as oily as it looks.

Pleasant and crunchy.
Dessert was on the house.
Kidney beans, gingko, snow fungus, mata kucing,
cooked with brown bee comb sugar.
Though I wouldn't say that their Peking duck dish is the best in the world, as the meat ( on another side platter) was tough and splinter riddled . The skin on the other hand is quite delicious but you have to eat it super fast before wind gets in. However, if you're entertaining, it makes an interesting conversation piece for everyone to mull over.
Besides, this grand looking meal is easier on the pocket, compared to another shop downstairs.
Location : Midlands One Stop shopping centre, Pulau Tikus
Directions : next to Berjaya Hotel, there is a lift facing the road . Take it up to the 3rd floor. Turn left when you come out from the lift. If you are adventurous or naughty you can turn right , after your meal. And no, I really don't want to know what's going on next door.
