Sin Kim San - Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken Rice ( NH )

While there are plenty of pakcham keh fans on the island, this is the first time I am seeing two older Japanese ladies, enjoying this dish so much, they just had to snap pics.

Take a look at this plate of freshly chopped chicken and you tell me why they got so excited over it.
Almost perfect. Melt in your mouth skin.
Take note that his version is different.
He takes pains to serve it warm instead of cold, but since I did not expect that, it took some getting used to.

Taugeh or beansprouts.
Alright, not bad.
Not as salty as other stall's versions, on the island

Rice wasn't as fragrant as what my nostrils, initially detected.
Still, alright. No complaints.
Big portion is the norm here.

This entire meal, less than Ten Ringgit.
Chicken for two pax, rice for one.
Huge bowl of szechuan veg soup.

Where to find him.
Along Rangoon Road after 5pm .
At night, he only offers Hor Fun noodles or so the sign goes, as I haven't checked if this is indeed the case.

Directions :
On foot from Tune Hotel.
Coming out from the entrance, turn right, walk past New World Park , stop at a pedestrian crossing. Cross the road, walk all the way to the end before you see a petrol station.
This is the coffeeshop you should be looking for.

In case, you don't fancy chicken rice, there are other stalls here that are quite good and worth a try.

Location : Sin Kim San coffeeshop , Rangoon Road
