Tatseven Eminonu

Ok, tonight we're having dinner at Tatseven.

There's a difference in service and food between their outlet in Aksaray and here. I personally think their meat dishes here are tastier though I haven't tried their mezes .
However, if you're looking for friendly service, the boys at Aksaray are unbeatable....just tops.

Hide ourselves away in this side lane.
A good thing because there's an entire wall with the menu ,next to us which we can point and show to the waiter.

Second bowl of chicken soup for the day.
Prefer the one with noodles at Sevecen in Fatih, this one contains soft seedlike pasta. Very watery but good for a blustery night by the straits.

Doner kebab .
Around 16 Lira. Huge portion with rice, fries, roti, lettuce. Very tasty. Eat it quick before it dries in the cold wind or keep it covered like this.

Mixed grill.
If you are a lamb lover, this is the answer. 30 Lira, huge portion....in fact 2 persons can share this.
There's so many types of grilled meats, even doner, the chicken ( 3 varieties ) is juicy and fantastic, on top of a bed of lettuce and two types of rice. Back home, they'd be charging RM180 upwards for this.

Location : Eminonu
Directions : look for the Eminonu tram station, cross the road away from the Bosphorus ferry terminal, the shop is the last of 3 just before a bank, just at the corner of the New Mosque.
