To avoid the crazy crowds at 7ish who are about to break their fast during this Ramadhan period , we could not decide between S.Wine and Morganfield's , but ah , he wanted beef .
Thus , to Morganfield's we went .
This is only my second time in all of their outlets, but I'm quite amazed at their progress and customer catching skills .
Many tempting offers reach out to you the moment you open the first page of the menu .
Such as this 20 ringgit instant e voucher . Sure helps a lot !
First to arrive was the Pork Sausage Platter comprising of Spicy Devil , Smoky Bandit , Herby Hog and Cheesy Cheese with coleslaw and Garlic Aioli .
Well received by us all round .
Followed by the Sizzling Pork Loin Chops served on cast iron .
Now this one's seasonal . On a limited time period . Called the Fire Grill if I am not mistaken . There are 3 other alternative picks apart from this .
Found that there was not enough juice nor sauce , one really needs to add salt to this .
Meat has a very processed texture to it though .
Last one .
300 gm Beef Tenderloin.
Right . Maybe we ought to just stick to pork next round . Looks good but the beef cut wasn't very good and frankly I felt the meat was pulverised to the point where it felt like it had been mutilated from the inside .
Felt like it wasn't cut expertly either as there was a lot of fibre that kept lodging into the teeth .
Again , you'll NEED to add salt unless you like beef au naturale .
Overall , those who don't like any salt in their diet would probably give this the thumbs up .
But really , the offers ought to keep a lot of customers happy and constantly popping back .
