A parcel from Kelantan - that mosaic bag

It's only my second time purchasing an item via the social media from a private seller and it was quite an experience for me as I can't find this particular bag on the island . After comparing prices , I went for the person offering the lowest price , confirmed my order , paid up and waited for it to arrive .

That's me with no makeup and a crooked smile . If I look as if I'm promoting this , well , I support our local sellers all the way and especially appreciate it if they willingly settle for a lower profit margin , so I'll gladly help them out in my own way .

Seller is

@fromoverseawithlove_

who doing this on a part time basis with no helper so do have a bit of patience if you order from her ok ?
Don't forget the underscore at the end when you search via instagram for the seller .

Wanna know how delighted I was today when I finally held it in my hands ? The proof is in the pictures .

The bag is made in India not Malaysia ok ? Demand shot through the roof after a cute local celebrity was pictured with something similar . Currently , a local festive period is coming up so anyone who is looking for a new handbag might take this bag into consideration .

What the back looks like

I settled on a full mosaic bag which cost a bit more .
See the bottom ? No metal .

I am so into this right now because it especially reminds me of my adventures in Barcelona ( don't bother checking , as I did not keep a blog back then )

My sheer kimono top is from a wholesaler in KL . Cost me RM20 only for that . I purchased 2 pieces in total , this one is beautiful but it crumples quick . Then there's a purplish one which I can chuck anyhow I like and it never goes out of shape . Also RM20 . Both would cost RM80 and above per piece ,in my usual haunts .

And my playsuit is from Kitschen .
For those who are wondering .

Before ending , here's a piece of advice from me with regards to the bag .
Reline the inside if you have the skill to do so . Polish the metal parts with some polishing creme for metals. Also use a toothpick to remove stuff that might still be sticking onto it ....with care !

I paid 70 ringgit for mine with postage included , not a few hundreds or thousands you know , so I'm prepared to take extra care of and do a little work on mine .
