Minions 2015 - for the hardcore toy and movie merchandise collectors

To all the hardcore Minion collectors out there , yeah , it's ok. Doesn't matter what others think of you.
Mark these 2 places on your must queue list.

1. Mc Donald's

Personally , I have gone past the stage where I need to get the whole set.
Now , I just target what I want.
Will examine and scrutinise the toy first before deciding.
Ended up with just 3 since I wasn't very pleased with the deteriorating quality.....
Minion Vampire (  super adorable ) , Marching Minion Soldier ( got myself 2 of these ) and the Minion Caveman ( ridiculous outfit but I like it )

Wrigley's - 100 Years of Delicious Treat tin

Been some time since I've posted up collectibles.
And when it comes to tin series, well, that's what I love a lot . While the edges may tarnish over time,  I do treasure every single one of them. Better still when they come in pre war prints. That makes it a must have for me.

Mc Cafe Double Wall Mug

Finally managed to get a hold of this. Been looking in all the wrong places when it was right under my nose all this time.

Priced below RM20 , yes , it does seem a wee bit too pricey at first. After all , this not Starbucks .

Kellogg ' s Cornflakes - Heritage tin series

Here comes another round of tin boxes for you to collect.
Since there's no festive occasion anywhere near , I'm assuming that these collectibles pump sales up during low periods.
Didn't get any so I'm gonna have make do with pictures.
Below are the designs I managed to find

1. Lady with a breakfast tray

Spongebob Squarepants bathsponge - GSC

In conjunction with the movie of the cartoon namesake which only parents like me would chuckle over, GSC brings us yet another popcorn and 2 drink promo. These promos must be quite successful seeing how most times the outlets run out of the premiums.
This time they're giving away a bathsponge so your kids will wanna bathe more often and hopefully not just " mandi kerbau" but come out smelling cleaner with a leaner soap left for you in the bathroom.

Tall koala lunch boxes - Lotte Koala's March ( Thailand )

See now, these lunch boxes can be found everywhere in Bangkok . They are quite bulky and clumsy but very cute . Comes with strap attached. There are Doraemon ones , Hello Kitty ones , Rilakkuma ones but Lotte Koala March's ones are containers you have to purchase biscuits in order to get.

Location : Bangkok

Mountain Dew - mini wet wipes in a can

Could not find the Pepsi one. Not keen on the Revive.
These are the other two brands left for taking.
Mirinda and Mountain Dew

The can is cute. Plastic wraparound. Top comes wiyh a pull tab. Check your local Petronas station and buy 3 soft drinks marketed by Permanis to qualify for one freebie.

Silver Coca - Cola keychain

The promo period is already over but I was determined to get one for myself . It's a sweet silver coloured metal keychain replica of the iconic Coca-Cola glass bottle

Koala's March ( Thailand ) snack container

Posting on location from the Kingdom of Thailand , I managed to lay my hands on this cute container.
How come we don't get these premiums back home ?
Big enough for 2 small foil packs of the biscuit.

Kit Kat Chunky ( Thailand ) - 2 in the can

Almost missed this as I assumed that it was a canned drink , until I looked again

Coca - cola Thailand - Siamese dancers on can

Super cute this one. There are 3 leggy dancers on the bottom with head gear that reminds me of the Makyong performance over tv last time.
No idea how long this one's been on the shelves but I like it

Cap Pemancing Mee Hiong Yuen - also has a tin edition out !

While I returned to the store with the intention of purchasing this tin of Menglembu peanuts by Cap Pemancing , Ngan Yin's red one stole my heart and in the end , that was what went into the trolley.
Anyway , some of you may like both, so here it is

Cap Tangan Ngan Yin's collectible tin is a must for this CNY !

This company has really stolen the thunder this year.
I was actually eyeing their competitors tin edition which I will feature in the next post, but oh wow, it's super 'ang ang ' bright red this 700g tin.

Maggi Royale - Korean style stone bowl

Maggi has done it again. What a practical yet good quality bowl they have conjured up this time.
Royalicious, yes, I absolutely agree.

2 week old Furby and some angpau's from McD

After sitting on it for 3 weeks , I decided to 'git' my own Furby. Didn't like the 2 on offer this week and so I pointed towards this Googly eyed Furby Boom ( my body may be all womanly but my brain unashamedly homes in on mindlessly cutesy stuff like this )

Cap Tangan Ngan Yin - CNY 2015 limited edition gift pack

Others try but whoever designed this pack for this peanut brand ...I take my hat off to you. Vintage in the style of advertisements of old , the box is probably made from recycled paper and is not as bright as my filtered pic here. Still , I love it.

Coca-cola Malaysia - Chinese New Year edition 2015

I am absolutely delighted to see these lucky Chinese words printed onto our Malaysian edition coke cans this year. Plenty of Chinese households will wanna stock up on them and grab everything off the shelves since there's no such thing called too much good luck.
Got these 2. There are many more can designs for you to choose from but I only have these 2 to show as that's the disadvantage of buying a sealed pack.
Still very lucky words. Nice way to start the celebrations with good fortune and blessings on a can, looking back at ya.
