A 2 person meal with 2 bawal fish , 2 fried chicken , 2 rice , 2 drinks plus a bowl of plain curry now costs MMYR 31 . Cheap was good while it lasted.

Rich stingey pokers and the downright broke,rub shoulders and sweat in unison together here,in this makeshift restaurant located in an industrial estate.

It's an inflation busting godsend where one piece of freshly fried black pomfret,the size of a dinner plate,costs just five ringgit.

The fins and head are fried till it is so 'garing' you'll soon get carried away,munching like a hungry,greedy cat.

You can add on ulam,bergedil and fried chicken if you want but their real absolute must have is their simple but mouthwatering fish curry that can make you 'gian' enough to want to enjoy it with white rice alone

If you're coming from Penang Island,once past the bridge,turn left and you should be seeing this "Kawasan Perusahaan Perai" sign below.

Go straight and turn right when you spot the Molex sign,continue until you come to the end of the road.Turn left and you are there already.

Location : Jalan Pengkalan Tok Keramat,Perai Industrial Estate,Juru,Penang

Chow time : 11am till late afternoons.Try not to go during lunch as you'll be clashing for space and food with many factory workers

Warning : not for the faint hearted.Tons of flies and cats around.Check fresh ulam for snails and eggs.
