Tree Monkey tea break, Teluk Bahang ( NH )

This is the view from the balcony . Peaceful and laid back.

While the main dining cabana has such a resort feel to it, you might even think you were on holiday in Phuket or Bali.

Frontcover of the menu. Very artistic. Interesting textures.

Coffee does not dissappoint.

Comes served in an elegant cutlery set, with a cute twisted spoon perched nicely on top.

Unfortunately the portion is too little and you might need a second cuppa .

Real bummer this.

Banana Split.

Costs a bomb.

Tastes ordinary and yet they dare serve it semi melted .

Thubthim Krob.

Standard fare.

Boring.

Same old water chestnut dessert available everywhere.

I won't rave over the Fishcakes.

Although they're made from real fish meat, it is packed very loosely and the spice marinade doesn't inspire.

Thai toast.

Made from a type of chinese cruellers with a very thin layer of sourish prawn paste and sesame seeds on top of it.

Quite oily and chewy.

We end up not finishing it.

By now, I'm really pissed.

Never expected the bill to be such an eye popper. After all ,we just dropped by here for a small bite.

Total damage : below $70 for so few items. Super expensive.

Verdict : not worth it.Only thing worth coming for is the view and the coffee
