Lithuanian street art on Armenian Street, Penang

Over the weekend, we played host to a guest. That's how we ended up here, staring at a long queue, by the dusty roadside, under the blazing hot sun.

So what exactly was everyone lining up for ?

There was no ice kacang, no ckt, no nasi kandar, yet it even caused an occasional jam along this small road.

Answer : because of Ernest Zacharevic's charming wall painting.

Tourists just love it !

Across the road, lay this mural of a 3D cat by Tang Yeok Khang, Natthaton Muangkliang and Louise Low, to bring awareness to animal cruelty.
The lines weren't that long here partly because it's very new, not to mention, not fully completed. There's still supposed to be another part to this installation in the form of wire mesh cat sculptures walking on a clothesline.

What's interesting about it is, there's a mouse hiding from the cat. But I didn't take that picture, you'll just have to come here and see it for yourself.
