This being Hari Raya, a festive season where no other restaurant or stall was open, we didn't wanna get a nasty surprise once they showed us the bill, so we kept to a minimum.
Unlike most places , the food tastes very homecooked, just like what most Malaysian Chinese households would cook at home . Not commercial recipes. Nice but if for a change.
Very thick and meaty, this red snapper or Ang Choh cost us RM48. Bit too much chinese wine for me in the sauce.Very crispy on the outside with natural sweetness that is just unbeatable. There's something about the waters here that makes seafoods taste so much better than Penang.
We're cheapskates when we eat in these places. However, if you think you want some lobster or crabs, you can pick them straight out from the tank.
