Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket Booth

It's quite a distance from both the train station as well as the bus transfer.

After you pass the welcome arch at the entrance, you'll want to stop for pictures at this fountain where Mickey Mouse hovers above a whale

Ticket booth in sight.

Line up in front of miss aviator sunglasses.

Price list

Our tickets promoting their new attraction

Toy Story Land

Disneyland Resort Line

You'll probably miss out on this experience if you come via tour bus. It's such a brilliant idea. Always awesome no matter how many times I board it.

Hold on tight to this.

Or sit by the window to feel like a kid again

Don't worry about Donald Duck spitting saliva all over you.

He can't. Ngeh ngeh ngeh.

I want to sit here later on the way back

Plush blue sofa. So well maintained !

Bye bye train

Yea, I'm going loco. Talking to the train now.

Pillar also want to take picture.

That's not so bad compared to the time we stayed in the Disneyland hotel.

I even photographed their dustbins

View from the top of the stairs

Sheer magic

Butter Cuttle (PF)

While we were at the Avenue of the Stars, waiting for the world reknowned Symphony of Lights show to start, a most delicious smell filled the air .

We followed our noses and it led us like hungry moths towards this musical rolling orange flame. Cute cartoon !

We place our order with this chap who's trying very hard to keep his cool and look undisturbed

Avenue of the Stars

What we saw when we emerged from the subway. Such a busy thoroughfare.

while this lay ahead of us

If you don't know the way, just follow the big crowd of tourists.

Everyone is converging here for The Symphony of Lights, a pyrotechnic light and sound show involving the buildings on Victoria Harbour .

Soon enough we reached the avenue in less than 5 minutes

The promenade is beautiful , weather kind and cool.

From this angle it kinda resembles Penang's Esplanade a little

So many tourists all over the place

Many kept fawning over the stars handprints.

Funny cruise boats that hosted other tourists who wanted to view the show by sea, sailed by at that hour.

This one looks like a Penang ferry.

While what looks like a junk, was fast as a speedboat

There was even one in the distance that looked like a mini chinese floating restaurant.

Sure got diners there.

When it started to turn dark, we had reached Bruce Lee's statue. But then we realised we had better turn back as the show was scheduled to start at 8pm .

Quickly snapped a picture of these bears that made an appearance in KL the last time.

Walking back , it was hard to find a place to sit.

I ended up on the floor as the front was full of shutterbugs armed with every range of cameras

Only took this picture towards the end because last time I watched the light & sound show from the other island, where there was no music.

Elements to Kowloon Station

If you have the time , try to include this on your sightseeing list.  It's such a glitzy way to access the subway.

Before you even reach there, you'll be tempted to stop and take a bite at Pret.

Smells so good

Looks so yummy

I took a deep breath

Smells so Brit

Or hop over to Holly Beans .

Why does coffee smell so good under air cond ?

If that's not your style, there's even a full serve chinese restaurant near the concierge counter .

Ponder over this installation on your way down

Turn back and take another look once you reach the bottom of the escalators

Window shopping at Elements Mall

Elements shopping mall is located just next to the ICC building where Sky100 is.

Directions to different sections of the mall are all inspired by the five elements.

The lobby is a favourite stop for a breather. With nice comfy sofas to stretch your legs.

Top view.

As you can see, the mall is not too crowded. Perfect for Tai tai's who don't want to rub shoulders with your pasar malam clothes.

Louis Vuitton has a huge store presence here

I was so stupid not to purchase anything from La Maison Du Chocolat which saw a steady stream of customers.

Next time !

Long time ago, the French used to 'giling' their cocoa

Drooling outside the ultra luxurious Shanghai Tang.

Everything in there is so gorgeous.

Even this coffee maker.

Can't stand it anymore, I pop into a Pandora outlet to see if I can find an exclusive. She shows me a dragon and money bag with chinese characters. Seen it before in Gurney Plaza. So no buy.

Hermes store

A quirky Loch Ness dragon made from foam rises from the marble floor

Lok Yuen Beef Ball King (NH)

We came here because it was still open past midnight. Packed to the brim even. Barely any place to sit.

By right should be good right ? I mean they even have the balls to say they are king of exploding beef balls. Take a look at the extensive menu. Impressive.

Snake King - Se Wong Sun ( NH )

Something caught my attention from the corner of my eye.

And right smack in the middle of Toy Street too ! Try and beat that.

I backtracked. Almost fainted when I saw this poster. Scream ! Cobraaaaa.... ????

Inched a little closer and took many many steps back when I noticed some preserved , coiled up specimens in large jars on shelves located near the entrance.

This where our snakes and river terrapins end up ? In a cooking pot here ? On this street ?

Hissed it's last hiss on Wanchai - the snake's eulogy.

Sam's Tailor

We didn't intend to find this tailor .  As a matter of fact, we were trying to locate the MTR station on foot from Stanford Hillview, when we accidentally came across it.

Somehow, I got all excited and rushed into the building just to see what the fuss was all about.

They're famous for tailoring for the rich and very famous. Wow. So many have gone through this small door. Maybe some of them will have to go in sideways or stay outside for a fitting.

Sadly I can only recognise Prince Charles and Madeleine Albright. Who are the rest ? Think there's a US President and other celebrities I don't know.

Funny why they don't want to do any renovation and update their look. The shop looks so 70s, unhip and really dated although I can see that it is truly well stocked .

Anyway it was fun , if only for a brief moment.

Won't look out of place in Campbell Street or even Jalan TAR.
