I personally thought that this Abstract Chevron cami jumpsuit below , was the most stunning and gorgeous out of all the apparels that I saw at the Vogue for Virtue 2018 charity fashion show .

The fact that I attended the event , got me influenced enough for me to go a bit crazy when I finally saw it on the rack at Forever 21 earlier today .

Certain celebrities are worth the amount of money they receive for endorsing products .

While some can sell more than other celebs .

For me , I thought that the sexy Nadia Heng carried off the jumpsuit in a way I could totally relate to . 

This is how today's woman thinks . We still buy a dream , it's just that now , we try to make sure that it is not too far fetched or impossible to reach .

We all know how Rihanna can wear a tattered foot rag and still look drop dead incredible in it.  Of course we know it won't be the same on us . We need models that not only appeal to us but also someone we can identify with .

Anyway , the instant I laid eyes on this Chevron print , I threw caution to the wind .

Though it looked way better on Nadia Heng , ( she's definitely trimmer , taller and leaner ) and that it didn't exactly suit me , I was already sold !

 Made up my mind that I just had to have it .

Sequins and Lolita figure hugging skirts

Sequinned clothes never die off .

But they've gotten very expensive lately , till I almost had a heart attack when I looked at some pieces of clothing over at Miss Selfridge .

Anyway , the best way to lay your hands on a more reasonably priced range is to identify which store stocks what , then when you feel like it , check the racks and keep your fingers crossed that one fine day , they will miraculously have one piece in your size .
What kind of a strategy is that ? 
One that saves you $$$$$ only if you have patience and are not too bothered about not being the first to wear it .

10 ringgit a kilo durians - pass or not ?

By the time we noticed this mobile vendor , this was all that was left .

" Durian kampung " said the seller 

" Satu kilo , sepuluh ringgit "

I guess it was the crowd mentality , we see people grabbing , we also followed suit .

Verdict : you get what you pay for .

We took 2 durians . One was ok , the other was um .....I think they're from Thailand ? 

But for those who have been lusting after durians for so long , the price was a godsend and the man finished selling all in no time at all .

I have to say that this is NOT durian kampung , these are either clones or very young trees that just began to fruit . Let me repeat again that you get what you pay for , unless you're making tempoyak ikan patin or some dessert , then it doesn't really matter if the durian is top notch or not .
