We're approaching the last days of the Malaysian year end sale and as soon as that is over , I'm sure Chinese New Year shoppers will be their next target . What that means another round of sales, folks !

If you ask me , this year has been a really good year to go search for stuff in the retail stores since so many people prefer to shop online nowadays as they're either too busy / the mere thought of lining up or even trying to get parking space just makes them throw their hands up and surrender . 

All this means a better chance for shoppers like me , someone who is in the midst of building a wardrobe ( yeah , I don't wait for New Year to make resolutions , I just get down and do it ) to land some really fantastic buys from the stores .

You have less competition ladies !

2 cat eye mirror sunnies and a really trashy aviator

Picked up 2 cat eye Quay My Girl lookalikes from Cotton On called the Gigi Cat Eye Sunnies and a really trashy pair of aviator sunnies from Brands Outlet .

The classic fitted denim jacket

One can never have too many denim jackets . 

I've accumulated a distressed one , an oversized piece and this latest one which is more fitting , known as a well....fitted jacket .

Various brands carry a similar version ..... Levi's , Topshop , Esprit , Cotton On , Forever 21 ....heck , I even saw one in Padini the other day at a very low price , but I don't think it's as thick as these brands I mentioned , so I didn't go try it on .

Kitschen haul - fit n flare and other glam wear

As I'm munching on a cracker smoothered with some smoked malidzano ( whoops that means I'm sort of having a snupper ) , I'd like to show you what I found in Kitschen today .

As you know , I'm a huge fan of Marciano by Guess and although I suuuuuuperrrr love that brand , it also comes with a price tag that bleeds a hole in my pocket ( oh , it's doing very well in Queensbay Mall as far as I can see ) , I'm glad to tell you that from the feel and fit of the clothes I tried on here , this is a good alternative , at a price that won't send your blood pressure shooting up up and away.

Don't be turned off by the fact that they seem to be targetting the younger set , you CAN find some fashionable gems here even if you're in my age group .

The funny thing is , even though I found similar Guess inspired pieces in Nichii , the cutting did not provide as good a fit as Kitschen's . Needless to say , that was very disappointing an experience . So very odd indeed .

Abang Jit Ikan Bakar - Lilitan Stadium

Exactly how long has it been since I've had a serving of ikan bakar that is not done Chinese or Portuguese Malaysian style ? Too long .

Let's try Abang Jit Ikan Bakar tonight now shall we ?
