Samyang Yukgaejang - best way to cook

Been consuming Samyang Noodle's Seafood Party for a good number of years . The problem is , because it's so addictive , it's ALWAYS sold out ! Situation's been like that for two years already .
Those desperate for their fix will have to buy them in single packs which makes it more expensive compared to the multipack .

How you can still eat instant noodles and loose weight at the same time

Guys and gurls , my weight has continued its descent * , I'm down another 500g or so , because apart from the handheld digital health therapy device , I've added on something to my diet .
No , it's not the egg. I've been adding an egg and sometimes vegies from my teenage years . Scroll down , I'll show you what it is .

First , let me show you what I usually eat . For breakfast or brunch these days .

Yeah , instant noodles have been my staple food for the past 31 years already but after so many years of consumption , I won't take them for supper anymore . I'll still have them daily for breakfast or brunch though .I mean I used to sup on them but not anymore as I've found that my weight piles on overnight thus wasting all my effort exercising my nuts off !

Right where was I ?
When I want something soupy , I either go spicy ( Maggi Asam Laksa ) or non spicy ( it used to be Cintan or Maggi Ayam but now I've switched to Baa..gus Ayam Bawang ).
I boil the noodles , till it is just cooked and still springy , then I throw away the murky water , add back new hot water and boil with the flavouring sachet this time . If I'm adding on vegies , most times I will first cook them till they soften then use back the vegie water to cook the drained noodles . My choice ?  Between the round cabbage or long Chinese cabbage , other times ... sawi .
Last step , I remove the noodles from the pot , retain the soup and add one egg till the yolk is cooked .

Quick Zabb Tom Klong - a noodle most evil

I've had Paldo Black in South Korea itself before , now that was hot . In fact I thought Paldo Black ( you cannot compare what is sold in Korea to those sold in Malaysia ), was the single most hottest instant noodles I've ever had in my life .....until I picked this up from a local Thai stall .

Tokyo Noodle - looks tiny but ...

Not aware if noodles this cute and small are sold elsewhere .
They're mini alright . You could fit the whole pack into a small handbag or your workdesk drawer or even glove compartment and there'd still be room for more stuff .

So far , I've spotted 2 flavours , both non - halal .

Ayam Bijan

There must be some spelling mistake.
This is a joke right ?
The correct spelling is supposed to be Bijian which means Seeds as in Sesame Seed flavour . That comes with an " I ".....instead of Bijan.

Now, like most Malaysians , I too know who Bijan * is , thus when I first saw this just now I laughed so loud , I think I frightened one of the merchandisers .

Don't believe me ? Go hunt this down.

* Bijan : a cyberspace coined nickname for Najib our PM

Mamee Chef Gold Recipe - Kari Seribu Rasa

Earlier this year  , Mamee Chef gave away 1000 trial boxes of their Gold Recipe series over facebook .Each box contained 2 varieties of noodles . One of Mee Tarik and the other , Beehoon vermicelli. Both Kari Seribu Rasa flavour.
I received it before CNY and procrastinated until I flipped through yesterday's morning newspaper and spotted the advert proclaiming Mamee Chef Curry Laksa as the No.1 noodle in the world. The world ?
Scrolled down further and rolled my eyes upwards.  Said the Ramen Rater. Omg , that guy again ?
 I don't believe it .
As a consequence , I finally dragged my trial box of Kari Seribu Rasa sample out from the shadows of Mordor and torched the aluminium pot over the stove.

Hao Way Penang Laksa - let's cook it

Weeee....I caught a flu and have been sneezing my nuts off. To make myself feel better , sometimes I go for a nasty bowl of devilish hot tomyam. Today, however ,after sampling this instant noodle brand at the local supermart , I am set on boiling this for a late night supper.

Recipe : Make that Sau Tao soup instant noodle taste better

Compared to the dry noodles where Eric Tsang's face is prominently featured, I wasn't exactly impressed with Sau Tao Noodle King's soup noodles. Thus I tinkered with some ingredients I have in the fridge.Actually , I whipped this up because I'm still fed up with our Penang hawkers. Another round of price increase has started already. Yes really.
Anyway , this noodle dish below cost less than RM10 so if you want to know how to improve that something missing feeling when you eat it, do by all means try my method out .
The end result is a gourmet chinese restaurant dish , just so you know. If you are unable to achieve it try again and again until you get it right.

Sau Tao - XO Sauce Scallop noodles ( non halal )

I'm not into the whole Penang Curry hoopla but I certainly have a craving for pungent  Hong Kong style dry wantan noodles. After I first ate this, I told myself, omg, if I were homesick or longing for some good old Hong Kong noodles, this one will do just the trick.
Been months since the shelves were restocked and I wasted no time in grabbing some.
Nowadays, the wantan mee sold at the hawker stalls is so suspect....I seriously wonder if I'm gonna die from boric acid poisoning thus I try not to eat as much of the dish. Keep it to a minimum while I gorge on this one.
