How've you been my dear readers? Did you miss me?

Well, it's now nearing the end of October 2020, the year of the pandemic and

I've been working out from home for the past 8 months, and this is what I look like today.

A new me on holiday

 Hi all ,

this is the new me on holiday .

I have a new wardrobe now , my hair has grown longer , I've found a great new lipstick and eyebrow brand even though I still hate using foundation or powder .

I'd already missed an earlier session , but this time I finally managed to squeeze myself into a slot thanks to Rina Tan !

When I went to India many years back , I followed the group of tourists into a saree shop recommended by a taxi driver .

So excited , we tumbled into the decrepit apartment building where the man showed us a few samples , yet the local Indians among us were not impressed by what he laid before them . 

Horror story according to hubby

Showed hubs this shot of muah taken just now . He told me I looked like a Horror Story. Scroll to the bottom for the short but curt exchange between us .

Anyway , I took it because I actually wanted to show the lip colour to another lady via Whatsapp .

Because the colour I bought was pretty goth and punk like , I was initially taken aback by his statement and then when I recovered , I thought what he meant by

" this is like a horror story "

kinda made sense you know ?

Xiang 6 Chinese Restaurant - Hunan cuisine in Pulau Tikus

Someone mentioned that this restaurant serves Hunan cuisine .

So that's what we're here for on this cold night I guess , which is perfect actually since there are quite a lot of delicious spicy Chinese dishes on the menu .

This year seems to be a year of sporting store vouchers , not that I'm complaining .

It's just gonna be the first time that I'm gonna be using vouchers from Al-Ikhsan .

  Hi guys and girls , it's been a crazy week during Merdeka itself and I have yet to post up what I was up to on that day . Believe me , that one day schedule was nuts ! Be a certified dance fitness instructor in Malaysia - who to follow

I was so shocked by this person who approached me the other day .

The way she went about made me feel as if she was demanding to know where and how she could learn how to be a dance fitness instructor in this country .

The more she talked , the more evident was her frustration . She'd been asking around but hit a brick wall each time . 

Well , I've got to give her some marks for trying and not giving up .

When I spotted this poster on my facebook feed , I wasted no time in signing up .

And I'm really glad I made the extra effort to pull myself out of bed on a sleepy Sunday morning just to be there .

So yesterday I took the trouble to wake up extra earlier than I usually would , just to go and attend this Yoga FIT

 event at The Galleria by BSG on Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah .

After the roughly 2 to 3 hour free session ended , I opted to attend an Ayurveda talk and it was there that I was made more aware of this program which I had heard of around a year back,  but one ..... did not fully believe that such a thing existed , and two ...... it was due to a communication problem because the person who told me about it only spoke in Mandarin or Hokkien , 2 languages which I completely suck at .

These are two of the strangest shoes I've bought to date .

Now , I've been a good girl and haven't gone into the outlet for about a week or so , thus when I spotted this last pair standing all by itself in the far corner , I went ahead and squeezed my foot through the faux suede ankle booties and zipped it up with a little prayer . 

Come to think of it , I'd say that they look more like hoofs . But they fit so snugly and would you believe it , my weight loss has been so steady , even my feet have gotten smaller now ? ( I went up 2 sizes with each pregnancy so I did not expect that I could fit into these size 4's ?? ) 

that when I tried to prance and hop around the store in them , there were 2 in the small crowd that feigned disinterest over my antics because they were really waiting for me to bend over and take them off ! Man....

Some collaborations are so exclusive , you can't even find any evidence of it online . Either that , or I'm going to be the first person to place this product on the web .

Belly full of eggs - freshwater river prawns

Some enterprising fellow decided to set up a stall by the roadside .

There was a huge 1 Ringgit per prawn sign above and that was enough to coax me into checking it out .

The jovial stall helps , both barely past their teens , shot straight up when they spotted me gunning for them . Once I was within earshot , I asked them where the prawns originated from and was rather taken aback when the more vocal of the duo mentioned Terengganu . Now , that's some distance away from Penang man ....

 He pointed and explained the 3 piles of prawns to me . With the One Ringgit pile almost wiped out , perhaps it would be best for me to consider the 2 ringgit pile then ?

Yeah , ok , fair enough .

So I grabbed those with bellies full of eggs below and paid all of RM 16 for it . 

Forever 21 activewear haul

Some fitness enthusiasts out there think I spend a ton of money on my togs .

Not really . If I ever do purchase them at full price , I'd probably consider myself a failure , you know ? 

Right . Now , scroll down and see my haul . Spent a total of 4 and a half hours inside the store today .

Still , you'd never guess that each item cost me an average of  RM39  only .

About the same as what you would pay for some cheaper activewear out there in the market , which will not last as many times in the wash .
